Terms of Service

The agreement

By buying or using Praise Patch you agree to what is on this page. If you do not agree, do not use it, and contact us so that we can close your account. If it is within thirty days of your purchase and you have not yet published an approved review, we will refund you in full.

What you are buying

Your purchase gives you a personal, non transferable right to use Praise Patch for your own business, or for the businesses you are engaged to serve.

What is included, and where the limits are

Your purchase includes storage and hosting for up to 100 published reviews, with recordings of up to three minutes each, on one review page. Additional capacity is available in Review Packs of 100 published reviews for $19 each, bought whenever you want them.

Reaching a limit never removes anything. Every review you have collected stays live, stays yours, and stays exportable. Only new collection pauses until you add capacity.

We may rate limit or suspend an account that sends review requests in volumes far beyond normal use, and we will contact you before we do.

We may adjust these limits for new customers. Any change will never reduce what your purchase already included.

We host your reviews. We are not your backup.

Every review you collect is stored and hosted here for as long as Praise Patch operates, and you can download any of it whenever you want. What we do not do is serve as your archive of record. Your recordings live on professional storage infrastructure and we take reasonable care of them, and no service anywhere can honestly promise a file will never be lost.

Downloading and storing your own copies is your responsibility, not ours. Download what matters to you and keep it somewhere you control. It takes a moment, and it is the one copy nobody else is responsible for.

What you pay

Praise Patch has three parts. The first is your purchase of the software itself, at the price shown at checkout when you buy. The second is a set of optional upgrades, which are elective, separate, and billed as a subscription. The third is Review Packs, which are one time purchases and never recur. Buying Praise Patch never enrolls you in a subscription.

What lifetime means, plainly

Lifetime means the lifetime of the product, not of any person. As long as Praise Patch operates, your access continues without further payment. If we ever have to stop operating it, we will give you at least ninety days notice and a way to export everything you have collected. We are not going to pretend a small business can promise eternity, and you should not accept a promise like that from anybody.

Features that are clearly marked as separate upgrades are not included in your purchase.

What you may not do

• Resell, sublicense, or rent Praise Patch itself as though it were yours to sell.
• Share one account among businesses that are not yours to serve.
• Ask for reviews from people who are not your actual customers, or offer anything of value in exchange for a positive review. Both are prohibited under federal rules governing consumer reviews, and both defeat the purpose of this product.
• Write, invent, or alter a review, or ask anybody else to.
• Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
• Try to break, probe, or overload the service, or reach data that is not yours.

Fabricated reviews are the single fastest way to lose your account here. We will close it, and you will not get a refund.

Who owns what

• Your customer owns their words. They gave them to you with permission to show them.
• You own your reviews, your logo, your colors, and your customer list. We claim no ownership of any of it, and we do not use it to promote ourselves without asking you first.
• We own Praise Patch. The software, the name, the design, and the marks are ours.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, process it, and display it where you tell us to.

You cannot edit a review, and that is deliberate

You can approve a review, decline it, or ask for another take. You cannot change what somebody said. This is not a missing feature. It is the reason a Praise Patch review is worth anything.

Your responsibilities

• Your login belongs to you alone. Do not share your password, and do not let anybody else sign in as you. Everything done under your login is treated as done by you, including approving a review. Sharing one login among several people is a breach of these terms and we may suspend an account that does it. If you have any questions about this policy, write to hello@praisepatch.com.
• Have the right to contact the customers you upload.
• Follow the advertising and endorsement rules that apply to your business, including disclosing any material connection between you and a reviewer.
• Keep your own copy of every review you collect. Downloading and storing your recordings is your responsibility. Praise Patch is not a backup service and we are not responsible for backup storage of your reviews.

Optional upgrades and subscriptions

Some features are sold separately as monthly subscriptions. If you buy one, it renews each month at the price shown when you subscribe, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from inside your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not prorate partial months.

If a subscription ends, nothing you created is deleted. Anything beyond what your purchase includes is set aside rather than removed, and it returns intact if you subscribe again.

Changes to pricing and plans

We may change our prices, our plans, and what each one includes at any time, for new customers. Those changes never reduce what you have already paid for. Whatever your purchase included on the day you made it, it continues to include.

Refunds

Praise Patch is a digital product and is delivered immediately, so all sales are final. We do give you thirty days to use it. If you have not published an approved review in that time, write to hello@praisepatch.com within thirty days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. Once you have published an approved review, Praise Patch has delivered what you paid for and the sale is final. Refunds are not granted after thirty days. Accounts closed for fabricated reviews are not refunded.

Availability

We work to keep Praise Patch running and we will not promise perfection. There will be maintenance, and occasionally something will break. We do not offer a service level guarantee, and we are not liable for what a period of downtime costs you.

Ending it

You can stop using Praise Patch whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything in it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.

The legal parts, said as plainly as they can be

Praise Patch is provided as it is. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what this page describes.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to Praise Patch is limited to the amount you actually paid us. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages.

Some places do not allow those limits. Where that is true, they apply only as far as they are allowed.

Nothing here is professional advice

Our founder and creator, Shelly Phillips, is a fractional CFO and business coach. Praise Patch is software. Using it does not create a professional or advisory relationship, and nothing in the product or its guides is legal, tax, or financial advice for your situation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and both of us agree to that.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. If a change materially reduces what you get, we will email you before it takes effect, and if you do not accept it you may ask for a refund of the unused portion.
