Who we are

Praise Patch is a product of AI Profit Garden, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means AI Profit Garden, LLC, the company that makes Praise Patch.

This policy works together with our Terms of Service. When you buy Praise Patch, you agree to both at checkout.

The short version

Praise Patch collects two very different kinds of information, and it matters which is which.

Your information, as a customer of ours. Your name, your email address, your business details, and what you do inside the app. We hold this and we are responsible for it.

Your customers' reviews. Your customers own what they submit. When they leave a review, they give you permission to use it as described on the consent screen they accept. We hold only a limited license to host, store, process, back up, and display it, solely to provide the service to you. For this information we act on your behalf and follow your instructions, as described in our Data Processing Addendum.

We do not sell it, mine it, or use it to advertise anything. We display a review publicly only after you approve it, and only on the pages you create with Praise Patch.

We do not sell personal information to anyone. We never have and we have no plans to.

What we collect from you

When you buy and create an account.

• Your first and last name, and your email address.
• Your business name, business type, logo, brand colors, and the questions you choose to ask.
• Your business mailing address, if you buy Your Brand Only and add it. It appears in the footer of the review request emails you send, in place of the Praise Patch address.
• A record that your purchase was matched to your account, and a record of any upgrades you buy.

Payment is handled by our checkout and payment providers. We never see or store your card number.

When you add customers to ask. You give us the names, email addresses, and sometimes phone numbers of the customers you want to ask for a review. You are responsible for having the right to share their contact information with us and to have us contact them on your behalf, which in practice means they are people you have actually done business with.

You may add a customer's phone number so you can contact them yourself. We store it in your private customer list and never call or text anyone.

When you write to us. We keep your message and anything you attach so we can help you. Support attachments are shared only through time-limited links.

When you join the launch list. Your name and email address only, so we can send you occasional updates about Praise Patch. You can unsubscribe or ask us to remove you at any time and we will.

What we collect from your customers

When one of your customers opens your review link, we collect what they choose to give:

• Their answers, as video, audio, or text.
• Their first name, their email address, a star rating, and, if they choose, their business name or a short description of their own business.
• Their consent, recorded as the exact wording they agreed to and the moment they agreed to it.

Your customer does not create an account and is never asked for a password.

What we collect automatically

Automatically: when you or your customers use Praise Patch, our hosting and database providers record technical information such as IP address, browser type and language, the pages visited, the referring site, approximate location at the country level, and the date and time of access. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the service.

What we do with it

• Run the service: collect reviews, show them to you, let you approve them, and build the graphics and pages you ask for.
• Send the emails the service exists to send, including your review requests and your own account notifications.
• Keep the service secure, and diagnose problems when something breaks.
• Answer you when you write to us.
• Send occasional updates about Praise Patch to people on the launch list.

We do not build profiles of your customers, and we do not use your data to market to your customers.

Artificial intelligence

Praise Patch does not use artificial intelligence to analyze, summarize, or make decisions about your reviews or your customers' information. Our hosting provider's AI development tool may access stored data when we use it to maintain or troubleshoot the service, under our supervision; it is not used to evaluate reviews or make decisions about anyone. If we ever add an AI feature, we will update this policy before it launches, and we will not apply it to reviews collected before the change unless you choose to turn it on.

We do not use facial recognition or voice recognition, and we do not create biometric identifiers or templates from video or audio submissions.

Approval, and what becomes public

Every review arrives private and stays private until the business approves it. Nothing a reviewer submits becomes public because of anything we do. There is no setting that changes this. If a business declines a review it stays private, and the reviewer is never told.

If the business approves your review, it may appear publicly on that business's Praise Patch review page, on its website and social media, and in its marketing, including your first name, your business name or description of your business (if provided), your star rating, and your video, audio, or written response.

Your email address and phone number are never shown publicly.

A business can take an approved review off its public page at any time, put it back, or delete it.

Review requests and reminders

Review requests and reminders are sent on behalf of the business that asked for your review. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and once you unsubscribe you will not receive further requests from that business through Praise Patch.

Review request emails and reminders sent with the standard Praise Patch purchase carry the Praise Patch branding and the Praise Patch mailing address in the footer. Only businesses that buy the Your Brand Only upgrade have their own branding and their own business mailing address in the footer instead.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each one receives only what it needs.

We require our providers to protect your information and to use it only to provide services to us. If an incident at a provider affects your data, we will notify you.

We do not give your information to anyone else unless you ask us to, or when required by law, such as a valid subpoena or court order. Where the law permits, we will tell you first.

Cookies and tracking

We keep you signed in using your browser's local storage, and the app sets one small functional cookie that remembers whether its side menu is open. Our website also uses basic analytics provided by our hosting provider, which records the page you visit, the site that referred you, your browser type and language, and your approximate country, and may set a cookie to group visits. We do not use advertising pixels or trackers, and we do not sell or share personal information. Our checkout provider and its payment processor may set their own cookies, for example to prevent fraud, under their own policies.

Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, and we do not permit third parties to track your activity across other websites through Praise Patch.

How long we keep things

Your account and your reviews stay as long as your account is open, because that is the product. We do not close an account because it has been quiet.

To close your account, email hello@praisepatch.com from the address on your account. When you close your account, or send us a verified request to delete your data, we delete your data within 30 days. That includes your reviews and their video and audio files, so your public review page and the reviews on it are gone too.

Two kinds of records are kept longer:

• Records of each reviewer's consent, kept for 3 years, so there is a record of what the reviewer agreed to.
• Purchase records, kept as long as required for tax and accounting.

We make daily backups and keep each one for 7 days, after which it ages out. We do not restore deleted data from backups.

If you ask us to remove you from the launch list, we delete your entry within 30 days.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. We offer these rights to everyone, and we will not treat you differently for asking. Email hello@praisepatch.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Before we act on a request, we confirm it really comes from you, usually by checking that it was sent from the email address we have on file. If someone makes a request for you, we will ask for proof that you authorized them.

We do not sell or share personal information. If you are in Nevada, you may tell us not to sell your covered information. We do not sell it, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you are welcome to write to us and put it in the record.

If you left a review

You never create a Praise Patch account and you will not get emails from us about changes to this policy, so here is what you need to know.

Before you submit, you confirm that you are 18 or older and give the business permission to share your review, including any recording (your image and voice), your words, first name, business name or description, and star rating, on its website, social media, and marketing, including excerpts and images made from your review. You also allow Praise Patch to host and display your review on the business's behalf. Your email address stays private.

You can ask for your review to be removed at any time, and removal applies going forward. Write to the business, or write to us directly at hello@praisepatch.com. When we receive your request, we forward it to the business. If the business does not act on your removal request within 10 business days after we forward it, we will remove it.

For businesses: by using Praise Patch, you give us a standing instruction to remove a review in that situation.

Security

Our database is configured with row-level security so that each account can access only its own data, and review media is stored privately. Public review pages read only reviews that have been approved.

Video and audio files have no permanent public links. On a public page, approved media plays through a signed link that expires after 5 minutes. Pending and declined reviews are never linked. Our administrative accounts are protected with multi-factor authentication.

Nothing is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you without undue delay, and in any case within 72 hours of confirming it.

Children

Praise Patch is for businesses. Account holders must be 18 or older, and every reviewer confirms they are 18 or older before submitting a review. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in the United States. If you use Praise Patch from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Our database and files are hosted in Northern California, and our email is sent from Northern Virginia. The website itself is delivered through Cloudflare's global network, so your visit may pass through a server near you.

If the company changes hands

If AI Profit Garden, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change it, we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email you rather than hoping you notice.
